Hi Friends! It’s Thursday evening, September 5th. We’re almost though the first week of September. Amazing!
We know we said we wouldn’t cover politics, but we couldn’t resist this story of a dog being named Mayor of a California City. It’s a Golden Retriever to boot. Not sure his party affiliation, but we bet he’s against animal cruelty.
We’ve been working hard to figure a way to post less with more. The problem is there is more to post than less when it comes to California mishegoss. There isn’t a day that goes by where something in the news matches the definition of mishegoss. Especially in California.
We’ve done our best to keep away from the standard news stories that others post. We feel our mix seems to be working with you the reader, but we know there is always room for improvement. That’s where you guys come in. You’re welcome to give us ideas of where we should go with this newsletter. Every view counts.
But, for tonight here’s our take on California Mishegoss.
- Want to know why LA is great?
- El Niño is in the news
- A winery owner is saving lives
- Native Americans beaten heroin
- Railroad becomes 300 mile hiking trail
- Aiming to put medical marijuana to the test
- The Outpost Trade Event
- Goop did an Oop!
- and more…
Have a great rest of the week and be well,
Mark & Patti
